Raeco Level-Flex Latex Admixture is a pre-blended acrylic latex polymer. It is supplied as a one component, white liquid designed for modifying portland cement compositions. Level-Flex Latex Admixture is not affected by moisture after curing, like polyvinyl acetates (PVA) emulsions. Level-Flex Latex Admixture can also be used with Raeco Level-Flex Powder as a two component, trowelable underlayment. Can be used as an embossing leveler when mixed with Raeco Buttercoat or Raeco Feather Spread Powder. Level-Flex Latex Admixture contains no solvents or corrosive agents and is VOC compliant. For exterior or interior use when modifying portland cement compositions.

Surface Preparation
Surfaces to be covered must be structurally sound, clean and free of dust, oil, grease, sealers, curing compounds, laitance, release agents or other surface contaminants. For smooth surfaces, we recommend mechanical abrasion to achieve an acceptable surface profile. The cleaning and preparation method selected depends on both the sub-floor material and its condition. Acid etching is not recommended.
Mixing
DO NOT add water to Raeco Level-Flex Latex Admixture, product has been pre-blended to meet jobsite conditions.
Application
Raeco Level-Flex Latex Admixture is mixed with various proportions of sand and cement depending on job requirements, until the desired trowel consistency is obtained. Refer to Mixing Ratio Chart for project requirements. Raeco Level-Flex Latex Admixture applications are self-curing under most conditions. In exposed locations where rapid drying conditions occur, coat the repaired area with a slurry of Raeco Level-Flex Latex Admixture and Level-Flex Powder. Can be used as a embossing leveler when mixed with Raeco Feather Spread or Buttercoat Powder.
Limitations
Do not apply directly over gypsum-based underlayments, vinyl covered wallboard, Masonite, particleboard, asphalt or vinyl sheeting, metal, plastic, glass, strip wood flooring, or plywood in outdoor applications before consulting Raeco’s Technical Service Department for proper application over above substrates. Apply only in temperatures above 40° F. (4.4° C.), and do not allow to freeze. Do not apply in the rain or more than 12 hours prior to installing any mortar product.
Warning
Raeco Level-Flex should not be used in non-vented areas for extended periods of time. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water and call physician immediately. For skin contact, wash with warm soapy water. If material is swallowed consult a physician immediately.
